Kat Carrido Bonds is a visionary leader and change-maker who catalyzes the power of storytelling for communities in the margins. Her journey is an inspiring testament to the transformative power of passion, experience, and an unyielding commitment to making the world a more inclusive and equitable place. Her experience spans a wide spectrum of events and gatherings, from local festivals and national film screenings to concerts and theatrical productions. 

Her work in marketing allowed her to craft powerful narratives that connect with audiences on both personal and collective levels. Projects for Liquid Soul including screening series for major features: Precious, The Help, Princess & The Frog, and Takers. Kat has worked for Los Angeles-based non-profits with local and national impact including East West Players which is the longest running theater of color in the country and Homeboy Industries is the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world.

With over two decades of experience as a cultural event producer, Kat has bridged gaps and amplified Los Angeles as a vibrant cultural hub. Serving as Vice President of Beatrock Music, Kat has helped to build unique brand recognition for this label that connects hip hop artists directly with their respective communities helping them to be accessible and accountable to the people for whom they speak.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Kat's love for arts and culture led her to contribute to the success of countless projects, bringing them to life through strategic marketing, collaborative event planning, and a heart for community.  While at Grand Park in Los Angeles, Kat managed both in-person and virtual celebrations for both New Year’s Eve and Fourth of July celebrations.
